1) Make sure Microphone and Speech Recognition are allowed: Settings → Murmur. 2) Check the recognition language — tap the language button at the top of the prompter and match it to your script (Auto / Chinese / English). 3) After pressing play, Smart Mode listens first; the prompter starts moving once you begin reading the script aloud. 4) The first time you use a language, iOS may need to download on-device speech assets — give it a moment or connect to the internet once.
1) On the device to be controlled (e.g. the iPad), open the remote screen and choose "Be Controlled" — it becomes discoverable and shows its name. 2) On the controlling device, choose "Remote" and tap that name to connect; once paired, the prompter opens automatically. 3) Turn on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on both — the same Wi-Fi network connects fastest. 4) Allow the Local Network permission on both devices when prompted (or later in Settings → Murmur → Local Network). 5) You can rename the device on the Be Controlled screen so it's easy to identify. Stale entries from closed apps time out and disappear on their own.
Pair the remote in the system Bluetooth settings first (most page turners act as Bluetooth keyboards), then just open the prompter: Space/Enter = play & pause; ↑↓ = speed up / down; ←→ or PgUp/PgDn = jump back / forward; Home/R = back to top; M = mirror; Esc/Tab/H = show or hide controls. For volume-button selfie clickers, enable "Volume Button Remote" in Settings → Remote Control.
docx, doc, md, txt, rtf, pdf and html. Plain-text files auto-detect Chinese encodings such as GBK/Big5. Legacy binary .doc extraction is best-effort — if the result looks wrong, re-save the file as .docx or .txt in Word/WPS and import again. The import screen lets you tick exactly the paragraphs you want.
Videos are saved to your system photo library (allow the "Add to Photos" permission the first time). No picture → check the Camera permission; no sound → check the Microphone permission and make sure no mute switch or Focus mode is blocking input.
Everything stays in your device's local storage and is never uploaded to any server. Murmur has no accounts, no analytics and no ad SDKs. Deleting the app deletes your local scripts, so export backups via the share button first. See the Privacy Policy.
1) 确认已允许「麦克风」和「语音识别」权限：系统设置 → 念念；2) 检查识别语言：提词界面顶部语言按钮可切换 自动/中文/English，台词是中文就选中文；3) 智能模式点播放后会先「聆听」，开始朗读台词后提词器才会跟着滚动；4) 首次使用某语言时系统可能需要下载离线识别资源，稍等片刻或连一次网。
1) 在被控设备（如 iPad）上打开「遥控器」页面并选择「被控端」——它会进入可被发现状态并显示设备名；2) 在控制设备上选择「遥控器」，点它的名字即可连接，配对成功后被控端会自动打开提词界面；3) 两台都开启 Wi-Fi 或蓝牙，连接同一 Wi-Fi 时最快；4) 两台设备都要允许「本地网络」权限（漏点了可去 系统设置 → 念念 → 本地网络 打开）；5) 设备名可在被控端页面自定义，方便分辨；已关闭 App 的残留条目会自动超时消失。
先在系统蓝牙设置里配对（多数翻页器以蓝牙键盘方式工作），然后直接进入提词界面即可：空格/回车 = 播放暂停；↑↓ = 加减速；←→ 或 PgUp/PgDn = 快退快进；Home/R = 回到开头；M = 镜像；Esc/Tab/H = 显隐控制栏。音量键式自拍遥控器请在 设置 → 遥控 打开「音量键遥控」。
支持 docx、doc、md、txt、rtf、pdf、html。txt 会自动识别 GBK/Big5 等中文编码；老版二进制 .doc 为尽力提取，若结果不理想，请在 Word/WPS 里另存为 .docx 或 .txt 再导入。导入页面可逐段勾选，只导入需要的部分。
视频自动保存到系统相册（首次需允许「添加到相册」权限）。没有画面请检查「相机」权限；没有声音请检查「麦克风」权限，并确认没有用静音键/专注模式屏蔽输入设备。
全部保存在你的设备本地，不会上传到任何服务器。念念没有账号系统、没有统计分析、没有广告 SDK。卸载 App 会删除本地稿件，请提前用分享功能导出备份。详见隐私政策。
